Pics of my '02 Sport - Finally
Well, I have been on here for awhile, but haven't posted any pictures of my truck yet, due to not having a digital camera. Well that has changed, I just got a new camera from work for my 15 year service anniversary. So I cleaned up the truck and took it to a local park to take some pictures. They turned out alright, but not great. I guess I have a lot to learn about digital photography.
This is good timing for me because I just finished putting on my 1.5" body lift, and also I just painted all my badges/emblems a metallic bronze color. (I wanted something different that no one else had.) I think the bronze on black color scheme looks really good. Anyway, enjoy the pics:
Front emblem and hood scoop grill painted bronze:
Here you can see the rear emblems and homemade hitch cover with bronze emblem:
Homemade sport edition badge:
Wheels with black center cap and bronze symbol:
Driveway shot:
Thanks for looking, let me know what you think.

Sweet rig you got there Bandit, love the black and you are right about the emblems. I have never seen that color before. I see that you have the SS 7.2 in the future, I am jealous. Your rig is going to look even better with that stance.

Thanks for all the compliments so far!
Yeah, I really like the way the bronze badges/emblems turned out, especially the sport edition badge. First I tried painting them in gold (originally they were chrome), but that was too bright (blingy) for a blacked-out truck. So I repainted them all in bronze. I think I hit the nail on the head with that!
As for the mudflaps, I got them from AutoZone. I can't remember the brand name, but they were just some generic truck/SUV mudflaps. They aren't a perfect fit or match, but they don't look too bad. I just drilled some mounting holes in the flaps and into the fender flare to mount them. Eventually when I get the sliders, I will probably take the mudflaps off.
Soon, I hope to get some black 16 x 8 aluminum rims. Probably ProComp 8179's. Here is a pic:
I might even put a simulated beadlock ring on them and paint it bronze too. How do you think that would look?
Future plans are SS 7.2 lift (probably next spring), custom sliders, Shrockworks bumper, and eventually 305/70/R16 MTZ tires.

Agreed, SEs are the best.
Bandit, 4Runner looks good. The bronze slightly resembles the OEM gold badges too much for my taste, but I will say the quality of your work is great.
Since you are after a bronze & black color scheme, why not opt for a set of bronze Konig wheels as this member chose to do:

I remember seeing that Konig wheel thread, and those are pretty sharp. But I think I want something a little more "offroad" looking.
