Performance stainless steel cat-back: worth $$$
I was looking through my Performance catalog and saw the Stainless cat-back. I was just wondering if anyone has one and if they like it. I know I can go with the Magna flow at my local shop for about half, but here in Misery, oops Missouri, they put crap on the roads that will eat anything for winter. I just want to avoid needing a new exhaust in a few years.
Thanks- Mat

I've got a stainless Borla cat-back 4-5 years ago. I'm in the rust belt, so I feel your pain. The Borla is hte last exhaust this vehicle will ever need. Sounds great too!

Cebby,
Where did you get the Borla exhaust? Is it a bolt together kit? I have installed a few Gibson's on my previous vehicles and they went together pretty easy.

I got it from Pro Trucks in Murrysville PA. They put it on, but I've looked at it and it appears to be all bolt on. I think the hardest part would be getting the old bolts out of the cat... Good luck!

Well, seeing as you could buy about 3 non-borla exhausts for the price of one borla. I would go with a local shop. Worst comes to worse you will have to replace it once MAYBE twice depending on how long you own the vehicle. My vote is go with a local shop and get a dynomax or magnaflow muffler (I went dynomax as it reads in my avatar).

Am I the only one who washes their car once a week? They throw down soo much salt here in chicago, that the road turns white, and stay white for a few months. But I'm not complaining, I'd rather have the salt then cars slipping everywhere.

CLin9383,
I'm stationed at Ft Leonard Wood. I have been here for over 3 years, its not that bad. Could be worse.
sdastg1: that ice thing is no joke. I was at Ft Hood Texas(Killeen) about three weeks ago and they got something like 2-3" of ice oer night. They had over 117 wreck in one day. They drove just like the roads were clear. Dumb 's
Anyway- Thank for the Welcome.
