Performance Friction pads dusting

I recently (about 3-4 weeks ago) installed PF pads and have now noticed brake dust on my wheels the other day. I've never had a Toyota that did that. Is this common with the PF pads? Man, what a mess!!! And the stuff doesn't come off without scrubing!

Are there any miracle products besides wheel cleaner and elbow grease?

I heard that the PF pads let off more dust than normal pads. I recently had those pads installed, but since my 4Runner is dirty as hell, I didn't notice the dust. Gadget did a write up on this, and I think he says someone has a way to clean your rims. Don't know about any myself since I take mine to the carwash.

I DID wash the truck last night and the wheels certainly took more time and effort to clean than usual. They did come clean, but I was hoping someone had a spray-on/wash-off product they could recommend.
