Optima-34R or 51R?
I'm looking at a new battery and I can't decide b/n the Red Top Reverse post 34R and Yellow Top reverse post 51R. I have a winch that may get occasional use and will probably have onboard air someday, but most of my miles are on the highway or around town unfortunately. According to the dimensions the 51R Yellow is the same height as my stock battery, so I'm leaning towards it b/c I think it will fit with no modifications and it's only $4 more than the red top. It only has a 12 month free replacement warranty though, where the red top has a 36 month free replacement and another 36 months pro-rated.
Anyhow, what do you guys think?

Since you have a winch, I'd go w/ a yellow top. Its a deep cycle, so it wont hurt it if you drain it. Drain a red top too often and you'd be using that 36 mo warranty sooner than you'll want

yeah I did, I looked for them, but now I can't find them. Basically cut a 2" round piece of copper pipe. Then place it under a board and hammer it into a flat piece of copper. drill one hole on both ends. Bolt on end to the cable, and the other end to the little piece that attaches to the battery terminal. Thats it.
