one more question

Sorry for all the questions lately, hehe. One more... when you've been sitting in ACC listening to the radio or something, then you start the engine, it cuts power to the cig lighter for a secord or so, is there any way to prevent that (i don't really want the cig lighter to have power when the key is in the off position though)? The reason is I have a portable CD player I have been using to play CD's with one of those tapes that allow you to use a portable in the car (if that makes any sense.. just woke up hehe).
Anyway, thanks for the help,
-Bryan
edit: the momentary loss of power causes the cd player to turn off.

Not sure but...

the electrical system cuts or reduces power to everything when starting - at least in mine...

Yes you can. Go to your ignition harness (under your key), tag the black/yellow wire, then run it over to the cig. lighter. Cut the 12v. lead going to the cig. lighter and replace it with the ignition wire you got from under the steering wheel. Make sure you put an appropriate fuse on it, either 10amp or 15amp, and viola! You won't have an cut while the starter circuit is going.

Cool, thanks for that, I'll give it a try sometime, maybe next weekend.
