Not cool....

Sad to say, but someone has the nerve to use a pic of my truck without asking to sell their product on Ebay. Trying to pass off something I made for a product they are selling. Not cool. I appreciate the compliment but don't appreciate taking without asking. I know Jason B. is with me on this one I notified the seller and Ebay. Interesting to see what happens.

Yep. Some people will do anything for a buck these days.
He should have contacted you and asked if he could use the picture.

He must have grabbed it off your website.
Jason had to resort to watermarking all his pics just about.

If he does not remove it, is there a way to leave him negative feedback on Ebay?

He has a "copyright of respective owner" below it but that still doesn't cut it. I probably wouldn't have minded if asked or at least give me some royalties for any sales Im in good standing with Ebay and they'll probably notify him or remove the auction. I know Im making a big deal but it just uuurks me alittle.....Oh well...on to better things

That is a damn shame ppl do crap like that.I think you should make a big deal out of it and contact Ebay about him useing your pic without permission.Check the ebay rules for unauthorized use of copyrighted material. Then he has "ACTUAL PICTURE OF OUR MESH" and that is'nt even his mesh.It was'nt designed by him. Just stealing somebodies else work once again. ˟˟˟˟˟ like that pisses me off so damn much.GRRRRRRR and he has 45 negs from ppl on ebay. Proof of what a loser he is.
Complaint : THIS IS SCUM. THIS MESH IS REGULAR CONCRETE SREEN. GARBAGE!
Response by xravedreamsx - THIS IS HIGH PERFORMANCE GRILL MESH NOT CHEAP SCREEN!!
LOL what a loser
nail his @$$ to the wall

If you search on Ebay there are some pictures of a 2nd generation with the mesh grille. I used to have it on mine but upgraded to billet after my wreck. I think it looked pretty well myself. Go for it Corey.

Well....Ebay wrote back to me asking for the sellers that are using my pics. I searched Ebay and found 3 different people using my pics. One seller wrote back to me asking to prove it was my truck by supplying different pics. He stated that one of his Ebay customers told him that it was his truck. The seller told me he supplies the material for people to use for free if they can use pics of their vehicles on his auctions. I proved to him it was my truck and he said he won't use the pics again and will charge the person who sent him the pic for the price of the mesh. Ebay stated they will cancel the auctions that have my pic. Im thinking maybe someone visiting this site grabbed the pics. Not too many people have seen my pics or my web site outside of this forum. Anyway....hope this ends my 'lil exciting drama for today.....

I wanna know too. I sell the cheap mesh at work, I may see what it looks like. I would just need a way to mount it to the grille. Any ideas? :fireman:

I hate people that steal other people's artwork. I can see why he stole it though, Looks nice. A guy at my school has an old Nissan Maxima and he used chicken:chicken: wire haha

I have not even taken a good look at my '91 grille to see if it can be done.

Pfd, that is still a shame about the pics.
But even the auction guy got scammed it seems by someone lying to him that it was their rig.
I'd see if he will give you the contact info.

I know we have a lot of lurkers here, too bad some are dishonest  and will stoop to that to get someting for free that they don't deserve.
Probably the same perps that try & send me viruses all the time

I had a guy email me last week that wanted to use my Toyota factory light switch pic for an article he's working on.
He said he'd give me credit for the pic, which is nice.

Thanks JB. I don't mind someone using pics, but first ASK and then at least be your product...

Ok....seems that this idiot can't figure things out. This guys still insists in using my truck in his auctions.

If anyone in the Sacremento area would like to throw this fool a call for me or "stop by" his shop and nudge him to stop using my pics I would appreciate it. It's not even his product that is on my truck that he is selling. I have written to him several times being very nice. If anyone is interested...here are his vitals and maybe some of you can flood his emails:
