So I gather you were looking a size of 285/80r16 in the ssr's? or did the ssr guys mess something up in the sizing specs because all I can find in those is the 285/75's which should be ~32.83 OD. Just curious.

SSR's come in the 285/75/16. From what I've heard about most Interco tires is that they always run a little larger than spec.

I've actually been toying with the idea (since I ain't bought my tires and wheels yet) of trying to get the backspacing I need in the wheels and if I need to add a spacer to push the tire out some more to get the 305/70r16's to fit. (33x12.5) I may have to trim a little (or a lot) but what the hey, it's not under warranty anymore and I probably won't sell it. I'm just afraid of hitting the suspension components in front with the side wall or possibly the rim.

Yeah I was looking at the Mickey Thompson Classic II's in a 3 5/8" backspacing. I don't know if that would be enought to clear those monster tires or not.

Does anyone know if a 33x12.50x16 will fit on a 3rd Gen with the proper backspacing? I'm currently seeing over 2" of lift up front. The front is the main thing I'm concerned about. I will pound and grind if needed

If you want serious traction I would get a set of Mickey Thompson radial Baja Claws. I will get a set of 33x12.50R15 when I get my 1'' RB BL and 15x8 AR-62s!

My friend has the ssr's and loves em. The sidewalls are alittle more aggressive than the average tsl, and Interco designed them with a new type of rubber or whatever they make them out of, but anyways they are supposed to last a lot longer than your average swamper. In the mud these would kill almost any tire except the bogger. My friend really loves them.

Do you like your Trxus. I love the set I have. I voted for them, because I have had a good experience with them.

I'm still debating on the trxus, dueler, and the ssr....LOL. The insanity will never end!!!

My friend is on his second set of ssr's and loves them. He got around
30,000 miles out of the first set and also said they ride nice and are not
real loud for an aggressive tire.
