New Tires
Well here you can see my new Trxus MT's. I chose to go with 285/75/16. As you can see my rig is a little muddy. I was trying to pull someone else out and in the process I got buried up to my doors. I'm sad because it took three JEEPS to snatch me out. Sorry about the pic, my camera lens started to fog up.....

Here is a pic just before we got going. We stayed out all night until 6 AM in the morning. Needless to say EVERYONE got stuck. At one point five of us were stuck. I was the sixth one that got stuck b\c I was trying to pull on of the jeeps out. In the process my winch remote also quit working, so I had no winch. It was a wild night........

I bet you wouldn't have gotten stuck if you had remembered to air down your tires!!!!! Next time air down to 12 psi or near there..... you'll do much better.

I had 31X10.5 Truxus MTs on my '87 4 Runner this winter. They are the best tire I've ever run. No complaints at all. On snowy roads they are amazing. In heavy rain they don't hydroplane where other tires I've had have. In mud, they're mudders. On rocks I had no problems. I'm selling my Runner so I switched them on to my girlfriend's 2000 TRD. They have about 6K miles on them now and look brand new. I would have put a set on my new truck, but they were out of stock and I had to have tires. I'll miss them this winter.

I love these things!!! Personally I like them better than MT\R's. They seem to clean better than MT\R's also. I believe the tread is softer/sticker, but they kick ass in the mud. They got me buried up to the doors! They'll either get you out or get you stuck big time. I'll get to try them out on the rocks this coming up weekend. I'm headed out to the Rock & Roll challenge up at www.orvpark.com I'll go test em out and let you know. I paid around $135.00 ea for them. They also measure out to be around 11.4" wide I believe and the diameter is 32.7. Basically the same size as the MT\R in the 285 form.

Hey loser where the hell are those pics?
I'd come up up and watch you on the rocks but I gotta head down to Biloxi, MS, for a couple months. On another note I have in my possession front/rear arbs, and a shiny new set of precision 4.88s, I hope to get them installed by Feb, so next spring we need to meet up again and this time I'll pull your ass up the hill .
