A new owner of an 'old' 4runner...
Greetings,
I just wanted to introduce myself as well as my 'new' 4runner. I bought this vehicle in early January, from my parents. It is a 1998 4runner with 95K miles on it. Very clean and garaged the whole time. This thing has NEVER seen off-road in it's life. That will soon change. I have been feeding my 'obsession' of this vehicle through this forum. Let me say that the knowledge base here is truly exceptional. I am excited to begin the 'moding' process of my rig. I just remind myself that 'Rome was not built in a day' and neither will my runner...Enclosed are some 'early' pictures. Enjoy!

Im in the same boat
I just did a similar thing. I bought my Dad's 2000 4Runner and am in the process of getting it more up to my preferences. Unfortunately there is a lot of tread lest on the current tires, so I'll have to wait to replace them with some all terrains. So far all I've done is buy the Toyota all weather mats. Good luck!

Thanks! I bought them at Cabela's for $19 each. The logos were done by a local guy for $15 each. These are called the Saddleman XL neoprene seat covers. Hope this helps.
