You know I'm not to sure weather I like it or not yet. I also said that about the 4th gen runners and I ended up buying one. Would love to see some shots of the inside.

later

somethings i like, some things i dont.

likes:
- bigger size. i always liked the size of dodge double cabs

dislikes:
- looks like a dodge double cab
- that hideously big, dodge-esque grill

hopefully that "chin" bumper protector is after market. looks like it says "westin" on it which is an aftermarket company

problem is if you make such a big truck you have inevitably made a big grill

Yeah,it's kind of a shock to see such a different change but it still does look like a Tacoma;like it or hate it the truck will grow on people and will sell like they always have.

Sabre:

I thought the same thing (Dodge comment) when I looked at it. But you know it has reliability unlike a dodge.

I like it. However I know that there will be quite a few people who don't like it. The Tacomas/pickups were always small, and now they are going to be bigger. Not that I don't like bigger vehicles, it's just that I like the smaller trucks. Also, since tacomas came out, they, for the most part, have had the same body style, with some changes to the grill. This has no resemblance to tacomas at all. So, I just think that after time it will start to grow on people.

I just wish they would put a larger bed on it. you are getting more people room at the sacrifice of cargo room.

I've been considering trading in my IS for a Tacoma, this 05 really looks good. Might just wait for the 05 now.

The cargo area is no biggie, I'll jus tadd a bed extender.

it seems like trucks these days are getting more feminine, they are losing their sharper lines and looking more like cars
