Need towing help -

Hi all,
I've got an 03 V6 4X4 etra-cab STD trans with a camper shell and a carpet kit which made it sit level in stock trim. I want to pull a 3600lb(dry weight) toy hauler and am concerned about the rear suspension sag. I wheel the truck
on occasion and I'm concerned that air bags would tear apart at full articulation. I'm considering getting a kit from toyteclifts that add pre-load spacers for the front and have a long add a leaf in the back. I thought this might be a good way to go to firm up both ends. Also any tips on wiring up my Draw-tite Activator II, I've mounted it and the rear 7 prong but haven't wired it all up yet. I took out the ashtray to mount the Activator and now I have the ashtray light on all the time any way to disconnect it without cutting the wire? I would like to set-up everything so it can return to stock with no evidence of install.
Finally - I've done the deckplate mod and put a foam Amsoil filter in it but would like a little more umph without dropping 4k on setting up a S/C right.

Any help to any of the questions above would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Bob

Hey there. I have a 3rd Gen 4runner and do a lot of towing. I had bad rear end sag so I opted for air shocks. If you do the suspension mod you mentioned above you'll have a very stiff ride. With air shocks you keep your ride comfort but are able to adjust the ride height depending on load. If you are not towing you can lower the suspension, raise it if you are towing. I found them to be awesome and cheap too.

As for power look into and exhaust system. That might help and search for the ISR mod for tacomas. That I hear add a few horses.
