need some new front swayabar busings
so i did a search and it seems a bunch of you guys are running front swaybar bushings from either energy suspension, summit racing, or wheeler's offroad, or pepboys.
some of you ordered recently, but now that some time has passed what are your thought on what you went with? recommendations?
i know this isn't the biggest of deals, but figured i'd make an informed decision on they what to get.

Good thread. I noticed the other day that my bushings are shot (split). Will I feel any difference if I replace them? Is it realy necessary to replace them?

I replaced mine with the Daystar poly bushings from Performance Products. They tightened up the truck in the cross winds, and when I'm behind the big rigs.

Word is they could tighten up the suspension and reduce body roll. I changed my front bushings after installing OME's so I did not notice any difference.

The reason I ask is that since my trip to Paragon last fall (where I wheeled pretty hard), I've felt and heard some strange rubbing/vibrations. I always assumed it was because I mashed my tailpipe up against my receiver hitch... but the other day I noticed the swaybar bushings were split.

My stock ones were all torn up, so i replaced them with the energy suspension ones. It does make a significant diff. if yours are messed up. It will get rid of some slack and make your truck feel a lot better. My only complaint w/ the energy suspension bushings is that the mounts aren't made for our particular application, and they dont fit well. Mine bent after a while, so i fixed them, and now they are alright, but could be better.

But I did find them listed here , just find your truck in the list and the price is the same as what I paid, don't let the picture fool you it is a generic pic.
