Need advice on tire size

I need to get a set of snow tires for my wife's 97 mall-runner. It has 225/75 15s now but I've found a really good deal on a set of used 235s. Unfortunately they are in a town 4 hours away so I can't mount one to see if there are any clearance issues before I commit to buying them. I would appreciate some educated guesses from the knowledgeable members of this forum as to whether there would be any issues with running these slightly bigger tires. The truck is a 97 4Runner, 2wd (not even worthy of the 4Runner badge IMO, but that's another issue).

Your truck will fit 265/70R16s just fine so the answer is yes, those tires will fit.
I assume the size you mean is P235/75R15 on the snow tires.

Yes, I meant 235/75R15. Sorry for being unclear and thanks for your reply.

Can I get a second on this?

People have run up to 265/75R 16's (~32") tire before without a lift. The 235's will fit fine.
