Mikeys Hummer Custom Push Bar

Well I've finally finsihed my custom Push Bar.

The bottom part is the stock toyota push bar, The top half is my CRAZY contraption. Its held on with 2 quick release pins, and than the whole top half folds forward.

I'd like to know your thoughts, comments, flames ?

Ill try and get the rest of the pics and write ups, up this weekend.

Just took a couple more pics at lunch time

Talking what is it for?

Has someone been using the tube bender/welder while drinking beer or hitting the bong ?

What exactly is it going to be used for? It looks like good, clean work, just wondering what is the purpose?

Actually it wasn't that much welding at all. most of those pieces go straight threw.. maybe took 1 hour to weld and grind everything once I had the pieces cut and bent. (Im not the greatest welder so more time was spent on GRINDING than welding)

I like it. It's something different than the norm. Besides, weather it's usefull or not doesn't matter cause...custom mods rock!

I think you need to make another one for ILOVEMOUNTAINS and his deer killing phenomenon.

BTW: I live right by a National Gaurd Armory and all the H1's there (about 20-30 of em)have that same type gaurd.

I'd be a little concerned about the attachment point on the front fender if I were you. How did you support that?

It bolts right threw the fender with a plate on each side. Im trying to figure out a way to support the mout inside the fender a little more. However I did sit on it and it didn't bend !

That's what I was afraid of. The first time you hit something with that you are going to krinkle your fenders.

Wouldn't be the first time. ha ha ha

Yeah It will take a soft impact or some weight. But thats it for now. I'm fabbing something up as we speak. So it will be supported from inside the fender. I just need to figure out what Im going to tie it into. The frame would be Ideal. I will be installing a 3" body lift in a couple weeks so I'm waiting until that point before I make this support bracket. as it will change all the dimension's

But don't worry when its completely finished Ill be able to hit a deer without worries.
