Yeah It will take a soft impact or some weight. But thats it for now. I'm fabbing something up as we speak. So it will be supported from inside the fender. Yeah just trying to help ya. If you could tie into the frame and float the tubing through the sheet metal that would be strong. By "float" I mean go through without touching the sheet metal. If you don't float it through the fender I'm thinking you could have some problems because the body flexes differently than the frame.

Now that I think about it you might as well run tubing for support down over the outside of the fenders to some custom sliders and brace it that way.

THATS a great idea...... hymmmmm

As for floating the support bracket. Yeah I don't want it to touch any sheet metal for just that reason.

Everything is going to change after the body lift, So Ill just wait until than before I make any decsions.

just had a thought... you mention 3" PA lift. and needing the auto shift linkages....

thats a body lift then... and that brushguard and fendermounts of the hood cage arent goign to fit with a brushguard as the brushguard is attached to the frame.. and the body is about to move up 3"

its not really a good idea to make huge shackles... jsut asking for torque loads to snap them.... we can put your rig on that scarysuspension webpage

I could be wrong, but i think he is talkin about D-Ring shackles. The ones used for tow hook replacements and such.
