Make Your Own Disco's???

I was wondering around the site here and ran into a page that told me I could make my own sway bar disco's and it gave me a shopping list for everything I needed. Does anyone know of a site like that or does anyone know exactly what I need to make a set. It all seemed easy stuff to round up at a hardware store(HD, Lowes type) aside from the bushings, but it had a link where you could get those as well.

ANY help would be apprciated, but I'm wondering why no one really makes there own and they just opt. to buy a $50 set. Is it economical to make your own or is it just better o buy a set. I'm a bit confused. I'm jus the kind of guy that if it can be done w/o alot of mechanical skill(e.i. Weldig) then I will take a stab at it first. Someone help me out here.:pat:

I bet you probably saw lar's page and his instructions on how to make your own. As for my decision, I opted to pay the extra for his set because

1) I don't know how to weld
2) I don't trust myself

So basically I'd rather buy a set proffessionally made, knowing that it won't crap out on me in the middle of a tight turn or something.

What are these "disco's" you are talking about. I though disco died in the late 70's.

hes is reffering to quick disconnects for the sway bars. all they do is allow you to detach your sway bar to allow for more articulation. hope that helps
