itty bitty lift

i have a 99 sr5. running 265/70/16's
looking for a small lift maybe 1 inch...1.5 max

i can get a set of used 265/75/16's for pretty cheap. however would it be noticable? would i notice an increase in height switching from /65's to /75's?

i've tried searching for pics of it compared to stock, but no luck

any pics?

Edit* im running bald tires right now but my front tires show 30"inches. my back tires show 29.5ish inches. back tires are 265/70/16 and 10% tread left. the front shows 30 because its 270/70/16. but those are bald as well.

I was looking for a small lift on Toytechlifts.com, which is pretty complete, but the smallest they had was 2" for a suspension lift. Plus, it's more expensive than what you'd save on the tires. You can do a 1" body lift for less.

You don't need any lift to fit 265/75/16s on a '99 4x4 (not sure if you were aware). I ran that size for years at stock height on my '97 and never rubbed off road.
Body lifts are ~$100-125. You can go up to 1.5" without having to buy anything else like the radiator drop, steering extension (altough my '97 needed this), tranny/t-case linkage, etc... BLs over 1.5 require these additional parts. You'll probably want to lift your front bumper up so you don't have a gap so check out 4crawler.com, he's got all that stuff. Should be ~$125 for the lift + bumper lift brakets.

since you have a '99 I dunno if you already have them, but if you don't you can achieve a small amount of lift using the '99 TALL COILS. Most the Limiteds in '99 had them. Like said before me as well as time & time again, search cus this information is out there.

If everyone did that there would be no need for YotaTech.
