I need help 1992 3.0 is making a weird noise

I have had this vehicle for a few months and it is making a weird noise mainly during idle coming from the air filter housing if any one knows what it could be please respond

Make sure all the vacuum lines are attached. Also make sure that everything in the air filter housing is tight so nothing can rattle. Make sure there are no rat nests inside of the housing or air pipes. I found a big nest made out of old paper towels in the air ducts of my mom's car once. Also inspect your HAI system. That is probably not the problem, but it is attached to the air cleaner and is an easy thing to check.
