I have a 1997 4runner 3.4, 3"ome lift, diff drop, 33x10.5x15 big km2

I have been getting this humming vibration in the driver front for sometime now. I thought wheel bearing at first. Pitch/severity didn't change with turning the wheel but it did at different speeds.

Jacked it up today to do the shake test on the tire. Ball joints are tight because they were replaced last year with Toyota ball joints. Tie rod end was bad. But I didn't get any play that would indicate a bad wheel bearing. Rotated the tire i could feel friction on the rotor. took the tire off. My backing plate fell off. so I pulled that out of there. Undid the calipers and the pads and on the inner part of the caliper the pads were pretty well glazed and bluefish color to them like they have been dragging, the same side on the rotor it looked the same, looked like it got really hot. Pulled the caliper off and broke it down. Caliper is really ugly with lots of rust. The piston boots were off. So I am going to junk these calipers and get some reman ones. New pads and outer tie rod ends. I'm thinking throw it back together and see if the sound is still there?

My question being this: Should I keep tearing the drivers side front end apart and replace the bearing even though I couldn't say for sure if its bad?
And would a junk caliper with a dragging pad make a humming sound?

Any help/experiences/advice greatly appreciated.
