Scroll down, it's already there.

As for the sensor, you should be able to look under the vehicle and tell by the number of catalytic converters there are under there. If you have 1, then it is a non-Cali version, 2 means vice versa. The OBD code tells me that you have a Cali version 4runner but I would also call a Toyota dealer, give them your VIN and they will tell you the sensor part number you need (make sure to tell them it is the sensor in front of the converter).

There are a few places online you can get the OEM ones, but I don't suggest getting any sensors other than OEM (ie no bosch or universals!). Two good places would be www.urdusa.com or www.trdparts4u.com (ask for Phil) which both carry the OEM Denso sensors.

maint performed
timing belt
water pump
fuel filter
oil change
spark plugs
filter cleaned

o2 sensor changed today denso
problem persists...fails to idle
no codes/CEL

checked TPS via haynes manual fig 5.31 verified proper resistance checks at FO and FC

checked MAF
problem/confusion
figure 4.14b
when viewing from the top
reading pins 2 and 3 (E2 and THA) --> reading is open 0.L on fluke
just to make sure wasn't reading backwards
reading pins 2 and 3 (from the opposite direction) --> reading is 27K, which according to the table would be row 1 10-20k --> -4F which it damn sure isnt right now
to make sure the MAF was working we even disconnected it which killed it

not sure where to go from here?!?!?...

Did you pull the negative battery cable after you replaced the sensor to reset the ECU?

I assume the engine will run, but just that you need to give it gas (ie if you let off the pedal it dies) correct?

Have you tried cleaning the IAC valve?

Here's some good info on how to clean the Idle Air Control Valve with pics:

Another good thread on cleaning it:

update
well, it turns out it was just a DTB..dirty throttle body. unfortunately, the MAF seemed to be the culprit due to the readings, which resulted in buying one.
i guess on the upside, i'll have a spare in the event one does actually fail. i have decided to ÅÅÅÅcan the K/N filter because the TB had some oily residue...anybody want a gently used one for cheap?
we'll be tearing the TB apart again over the weekend because i ordered TB and IAC gaskets. i can say this was definitely an enlightening experience, and i really appreciate the help y'all have offered.
