That would be a grille from an 05 +

The mesh crap might be some pos insert.

It wont fit your truck.

1. The fact this is in 95.5- 04 Taco Section
2. The fact he said "I was told its for an 04" Why would someone buy a mesh grille for an 04 and try and fit it on an 05 ?
3. This thread on TTORA thats also in early tacoma tech.

You asked what year it belonged to, and you got your answer.
Scuba only assumed you had a 95.5-04 taco and mentioned that it wouldnt fit if you did.
Hopefully no one offended you by helping and assuming.
I am sure it will not happen again.

Helping and assuming in a positive manner is fine.

When it is negative do not assume that is helping.

I will not be offended if you do not assume anymore in my threads

There is a difference between positive assumption and just bad attitude with "crap" and "pos" .
