Glove box bulb dead, changed bulb, checked fuse, still SOL

The bulb has been changed and the fuse for all the interior lights is fine (the lights all work), so I'm guessing there's some wiring somewhere that's frayed or something. Would fixing this be more hassle than it's worth? I know squat about wiring and electrical systems/circuits other than completing circuits, +/-, and V=IR (though I've done some soldering before) and I know nothing about the going ons behind interior panels.

Not afraid to mess around back there though if it'll fix something and I learn something new.

You check the glove box light when the interior lights are set to on right? Just checking since I thought my bulb was shot as I was used to the light coming on when the glove box door opened,,,but not so on the runner.
