In-glass antenna

Not getting much response from the audio forum, so I'll try here.

Has anyone successfully connected the in-glass FM antenna to an aftermarket stereo. I'd like to just leave the power antenna disconnected and use the in-glass, but the connector is non-standard so I'm not sure if there's an adapter out there for it.

the mini plug did not fit in my alpine head unit. and even when i disconnected the regular plug the motor still went up. i am not sure how to stop the motor from going up other than disconnecting the whole thing. i have pretty much given up on using just the diversity antenna. let me know if you come upon a solution. thanks

I am not worried about disconnecting the power antenna - thats just a matter of disconnecting your antenna/amplifier turn on lead.

I'll have to take my stereo back out and take a look. Sounds like its possible since there is an adapter that works.

I'd like to have both antennas connected like factory but haven't found out how to do that.

Just connected the GM antenna adapter I picked up at Autozone. Worked great. Reception seems good and the power antenna is now disconnected.
