GEN 3 Switched 12v tap?

I'm re-doing the first owner installed items on the '96 by adding a "painless wiring" (homemade) switched sub-fuse panel…

Oh great Gurus, where is the best place to pick up a switched 12v control lead?

I have searched under the hood and dash (without disassembly) and nothing “jumps out at me.. Am leaning towards the 15 amp accessory fuse but I can’t locate drop side access outside of the harness..

Ideas? What has worked for you?

As long as you are not drawing any large amperage you can use on of the 2 switched sources under the dash by the ignition switch. You can look at the pics of my alarm install which also have wire colors and supply so you know what to look for.

If you are going to draw some amps I suggest you set up your own source by using a relay to switch it on when the car is on.

Sorry, I meant to say to use the relay and then "trip" the relay with the switched 12V under the dash.
