Jardine 2.5" Exhaust

I did a bit of exhaust shoppng as well. I ended up choosing the Jardine 2.5" cat-back exhaust. It's a direct replacement from the cat on back, even utilizing the little rubber gromets to hang by. It comes in 3 pieces: muffler, tail pipe, and chrome tip. A guy around here with a SC'ed 2002 4Runner with TRD headers and exhaust heard me go buy in a parking lot, and when I went in the store, he asked me about it. He said that mine was deeper, throatier, and about twice as loud as his truck, even though mine is stock except the exhaust. Also, it won't drone like the little buzzing-bee exhausts you always see on these little Hondas. Jardine I think originally started out making motorcycle exhausts, so they know what they're doing. Here's a link: www.jardineproducts.com . I got mine used for 2000 miles off of eBaY for $160 shipped and then payed $60 for the installaton, but I may have gotten ripped off on that last part . I'd guess they retail for around $230 or so, but I'd say it's worth it.

Thumbs up

Hey gang just thought that Id throw in my $0.02!!!

Today I had a 2.5 pipe, cat and 40 series flowmaster installed just aft of the o2 sensor! Man is it mean! Throughty at idle, beefy at 2k and just faintly humms at cruse (arround 3k). I love it. I really think it sounds verry close to a 5.0 everywhere but on the highway where it is nointrusive!

Just dont ask what I paid!

cheers

_travis

man does Summit have great prices on flowmasters!!!
