Exhaust question...

I installed a Flowmaster 40 (original...not delta) yesterday and am very happy with it. I hear that it will sound even better after it breaks in...is this true.

My question is in reference to the accompanying paperwork that mentions that this muffler runs hotter than stock which makes the engine run cooler...my question is regarding excess heat around the muffler...is this of any concern? Thanks for any input.

it supposedly does make the engine run cooler and make the exhuast gas hotter due to its advanced exhuast gas scavenging capabilities, but its fine... no need t oworry about anything....
