I don't know if I am over reacting but this is bothering me. Whenever I accelerate I hear a throaty growl from the engine. Like a V8. Now far be it for me to compare my 6 cyl to a V8 but that is the closest comparison I can come up with. Is this normal? I have only replaced my air filter to an Amsoil filter. No deck mod, no nothing. I am trying to figure out how to explain this to a Toyota tech when I go in for my 30k anyway. "Uh, yeah... the engine is a little loud. Like a growl."

It is not very loud, but I can hear it. "Grr..ga..ga..ga..ga..ga.."
