Can't remember my source, but it's my understanding that most modern (read mid-90's to present) vehicles can generally run on a ethanol mixture ranging anywhere from 0-to-25%. If the price savings were enough, it might be worth your while to dump in a gallon or two of e85 in a nearly full tank. Again, I can't back that up. I'd rather let someone else try it and let me know, and I'll take your word for it . E85 is as expensive or more expensive than 85 or 87 octane here in Denver.

i am waiting for the day where we dont have to depend on anyone else for our daily fuel needs. hopefully our politicians will keep the candle burning on this very important issue.

...and fire up some new nuclear reactors too
