Cost of OEM Plugs and Wires?

Just called for a quote.. keep in mind this is in Canada..

$5.67 per plug..

and $113.88 for the "Cord Set"..

Does that sound about right? I did NOT expect to have to pay that much for the wires!

talk to phil at Toyota of Dallas (Strap22) he can cut you a killer deal.

Also, check out www.toyotapartsales.com they will have the info you need, and the discount you desire.

I always stick to OEM with my plug wires. The build quality is 400x better than aftermarket.

From: Toyotapartsales.com;

Cable set, 4-runner, 6 cylinder 96-02 (list) $61.82 (cost) $44.96

I could not find plugs on there, but the local dealer had them for $5.50 list, which means about $3.50 each.

Thanks for the input guys/gals.

I've emailed toyotapartsales.com to see if they ship to Canada. Waiting to hear back.

DeathCougar: I found the plugs on there and they were less than $3/plug.. it was like $2.20 or something awesome like that!

I found a great Canadian AutoParts website that I will most likely order all my parts from: http://www.autopartsonlinecanada.com/

However, I don't see "spark plug wires" on the site. I'm assuming that the "Ignition Wire Set" is the same thing.. can someone confirm?

http://parts.autopartsonlinecanada.c...ition+Wire+Set

But there's only 3 in the set. Is that right?

Any fellow Canadians on here ever order from American parts stores, and know if there's any extra taxes/duties when stuff like plugs/wires cross the border?
