I'm closing in on 150K now. Trying to put together small items that I need. Did some searches on wires... I just want factory wires thats all. Someone lend a hand and post a link or direct me to find them. I am seeing denso, ngk, blue wires are great, blue wires suck... etc etc.

Also, I bought the truck at 30K and replaced the timing belt at around 80K. Time to change again? I thought the rule was about every 100K but would change the belt and wp if needed.

 

I am somewhat in the same boat as yourself. spark plugs, wires, air filter, have your water pump checked out, battery checked, thermostat replaced, o2 sensor inspected, change differential/transmission fluid, inspect cv joints, run sea foam in gas tank then change fuel filter, coolant flush, inspect shoes/pads/rotors/drums...this is what i recently did.. oh, and a chassis lube..

 

Getting ready to do the same on my Runner! coming up on all the above, plus I'll be driving out to Colorado this summer to live there and want it in tip top condition eventhough there is nothing wrong with it...geez, it's a Toyota, lol.

 

So nobody can provide advise on OEM replacement wires than from the dealer. Brand? where from?

 

Just go with NGK wires.

Stick with the stock plugs ngk or denso they work the best IMHO and i thought we didn't need to replace the wires cus it uses a coil pack for the plugs...hmmm.

I'd just search on ebay or autopartswarehouse
