Clutch or synchros?

So my 5-spd. 1992 4Runner goes from 1st to 2nd perfectly, nice and smoothly, when she's started up in the morning and the engine's cold. However, just about the time that the engine warms up to normal operating temperature, changing from 1st to 2nd is extremely hard, sometimes even grinding if downshifting as opposed to upshifting.

Double-clutching helps sometimes, so I am confused as to whether the problem lies with the synchros or the clutch. Clutch doesn't slip, however I'm thinking there may be a problem with it not letting go causing the rough shifting.

Thanks for your input.
