Clicking Radio-revived
So, you've read my tribulations with my recent spark-plug ordeal (PO overtorqued, sparkplug flew out, blah, blah, blah.)
Additionally, I posted some time ago about my radio and how it would "click" on FM frequencies during pedal-off cruising or idling, but not accelerating.
I just put the two together. The spark-plug must have been loose since the day I got the vehicle, as the radio click was there all along. Now that the spark-plug is fixed and melted coil replaced, the radio is clear.
So, if you've got a radio "click" that seems to follow engine RPM, check your ignition coils, and your spark plugs. You'll wish you had.

I just started to notice that in my rig today. I installed an xm radio w/ my alpine cd player. I bought an AI-net adapter 3 in 1(3.5mm jack,av,nano plug-in) I plugged the 3.5mm jack directly to the xm radio and notice a high pitch when I would set the volume high. I turned OFF the xm radio and the pitch was still there, it would get higher as I accelerated. My doesn't click like yours did, makes more of a whining noise as I accelerate, I'm thinking a ground loop would clear this up. What to you guys think??

Whoreunner, that almost sounds like an alternator whine to me. There are filter kits out there that are fairly simple to install.
