Changed over to winter wheels/tires

Phewww, what a chore lugging the tires in and out of the place down the steps.

Took off the Wild Country TXRs and my Centerline wheels, and put back on some older TXRs and some saw blade alloy wheels.

The winter combo I don't care about if they get pitted or not.
The TXR tires are also siped like my good set so they are excellent in snow, rain, and ice.

Taking the tires off though was not a chore as that is where the Power Tank shines.

I have a 1/2" Sears impact wrench I use to take off the lugs.
Zip, zip, zip, and all 6 lugs are off in a few seconds.
This is just as fast as a big shops compressor at the tire shop.
I don't use it to put the lugs back on though, I do it by hand so as to not over tighten them.

A crowd always seems to gather around when I do this as most people have not seen a Power Tank, and they wonder how it works without a compressor noise going.

Also while I had the front wheel off, I snapped a pic of the three low profile bump stops that '86 to '95 IFS rigs can use.
The low bumpers can increase your wheel travel a bit for off road, especially after cranking your T bars a bit.

Very easy to put on, these have been on for a few years now.
They are the three red things you can see here.

Excuse the dirt, that is Greenwater dirt from a few weeks back.
The rig still has not had a bath yet.

So for those of you who have not changed over to your winter setup, it's getting close to snow season

Fun Fun glad I don't have to worry about here. I will if I move to Washington next year though. My old steelies are sitting in the shed.
