Guess I'll be changing the rotors and pads soon, they are still the OEM's at 74k. It only shakes at high speed braking though, so I can live with it for a little while. I'm going to have a big maintenance day, I'll sea foam the intake, change the plugs, clean the MAF, replace the PCV/Fuel filter, do the brakes, clean the K&N filter, run a couple of bottles of BG44K on the next fill ups, and to top it off give her a bath.

Should I wait until after I run some BG44K to change the filter, no use in it cleaning something that will be chnaged anyways, right?

You could argue the point either way. Personally, I don't think your current filter is plugged yet. So go ahead and run the BG44K through now, run your tank to almost empty, then change the filter.

So changing it after would be fine? Maybe I'll do a can change it, then run another. My mileage has gone down recently. I'm at like 14-15 right now.

Sure...Change it. It can't hurt anything...as long as you're careful and don't cross thread the fittings.

Oh yeah....one more thing...Smoking or wearing nylons while changing the filter would not be a good thing to do.
