Car broken into

So last week i was at the bar for a few hours having a good ol time and come out to this: (pics kinda dark)

Some asshole smashed out my front passenger window and took my 20gig mp3 player and burton backpack. They didnt touch the HU or amp or sub thankfully. Got a couple new scratches on that door too. Man it pisses me off that people cant just work for their own ˟˟˟˟˟ and buy stuff they want. At least it is all easily replaceable, just incredibly irritating.

sorry to hear about your loss, im kind of wondering why you left such a tempting treat out in the open though.

Well the place it happened is not far from my house and i am there all the time. I guess it was a false sense of security. It is one of those things that after putting it out of sight a lot, i just got lazy about hiding it.

i guess we can get a bit complacent and figure we are ok this one time. damn, you gotta hate when that happens. just keep an eye open for that back pack, the mp3 wont be too far away. call a couple buddies and invite the person to a blanket party!!

I think you're very furtunate you were no where around your truck when the vandals stopped by. A kid a few weeks ago was killed trying to keep the ipod.

next time don't leave valuables out in the open to temp would be thieves.

Actually, the teen who was killed just thought it was worth fighting for. It was the punk who stabbed who felt it was worth dying for. I'd hate to blame the victim for standing up for himself.

Glad to hear they didn't get everything in that heist. A broken window is bad enough.

There is the point.........what has gone wrong and it is wrong........wrong to the point that "I created temptation because I left in sight"

We have a rape shield law that is meant to prevent victims from being grilled in court about what they where wearing and such.......I think we also need a stupid DEFENCE law It is pretty simple...you did not buy it is not yours and no I did not buy it for you, but forgot to pass it along........It really is quite foul what criminals are getting away................

That sucks. Sorry to hear about it...same thing happened to me a couple years ago; after that I got real anal about removing my faceplate and not leaving any valuables in plain view.
