A/C makes idle low

Post A/C makes idle low

any one know what that little thing is that kicks up the idle when you turn on the a/c,or where it sits in the 3.sloe engine bay. I couldnt find it in the haynes manual. Maybe about time to get a chiltions. I hope some one can help ,thanx

It's on the passenger side right in the middle, there's a lot of vac. lines going to it, it's a big screw, with the ac on, turn your idle up, but before doing so make sure your curb idle is set correctly (850 rpm's), if it is set correctly then go ahead and turn your ac idle up!

if the idle changes whem I adjust the screw and the ac is off could that mean I have a vacume leak????

still no fix for the low Idle when the ac is on

I have asked this question a few times on the board with no fix....If you can find a fix please let me know.....sometimes mine gets so low it will not even kick the compressor on...no cool air in heavy traffic.....good luck
