So I have had my 4runner for about 5 months now and here is what I got done so far...

My parents want to buy me a grad. present, but I am not sure what to get for my truck! As you can see I really need to get something on the front of my truck to protect my radiator and all that good stuff. I like shrockworks bumper, but a grand it too much. I like tube style bumpers but cant seem to find any for my 96 runner. Maybe I should just bulid one and ask for on board air?

Call up your local off road fab shop. I'm having tube bumpers done on my 95 this weekend and it's only 300 for the front AND back.

Looks like you're having the same blinker problems as i am. lol, They're located in a very bad place.

I will give my local shop a call for sure, thats a really good idea. And about the title, yeah it was late...and I was trying to make a new word I guess? And as for the blinkers, I bashed that out on a rock the first week when I was wheeling stock!

i would first remove the tire in the roof held on by straps....you may think it is secure, and i did too but bad things can happen.

lol, my blinker got bashed on a tree, then another toyota i was wheeling with decided to back into it, then a buddies lifted tahoe. haha, there's not much left of it, that's why i'm getting bumpers this coming up weekend.

Post an ad on craigslist "looking for fabricator to make offroad bumpers". With the economy the way it is there's tons of people out there that are more than qualified without jobs and will do the job for dirt cheap. That's how i'm getting mine for 300 front and back + materials.

What happened to your tire strapped to the top? I have honestly jumped my truck pretty hard, harder than I should have(bud light tends to do this to people) and I did not fly off. Anyway so your vote is a roof rack? Cause that baby isnt going to fit underneath, its full size for my locker. And as for the front bumper, I have decided I will just wait till I am out of school and bulid one myself so I can do it just the way I want. So I guess roof rack? On board air set up? I have also been thinkin about a good set of front rotors and pads?

as far as rotors and pads dude jus go ahead and save some time and money by upgrading to tundra front brakes very well worth it bout to do it myself

there is numerous options.. i mean window tint, frame sliders, bumpers, clear corners, CAI, exhaust, on board air( amazing if your rock crawl), new skid plates, 1st gen roll bar mod, rear tire carrier.. but on board air would be awesome.. roof racks are great, but only if you have alot of stuff to load it up with..

I went with a Viair Medium duty on board air system and Bud Built skids! I dont think I can go wrong with those two things. I have no reason not to air down now!

na for the tundra brake upgrade u jus have to have 16" wheels and make sure u get the ones with 199mm rotors they r off of a 2000 to 2003 i think jus check the size that way u wont have to grind them down to trim them
