Billy Wrapping up shop - more info and pics coming
Hey all-
Well, old Billy has just about completed the entire overhaul. After a final fab job to my pan hard drop bracket, the bar is back in place and looking very parallel to the axle. If any of you want a CAD drwg for a 4th gen panhard drop bracket, just let me know. I decided to paint out the front and rear silver bumper inserts black. Came out much better than I had expected...actually worked very well with the front black grill and lower valance inserts. The taco skid and tow hooks are back on. The hood scoop is fully functional, and the screen is painted out. I have decided not to drop the front diff after talking to a few buddies...kinda a damned if ya do, damned if ya dont scenario. I'll get some pics up this weekend. Here are the final measurements that allow the 315's to clear just fine:
front - 39.25" - roughly 5.75" over stock
rear - 41.50" - roughly 5.50" over stock
The Inland control arms are great, and ground clearance is just under 15". I think that about takes care of it. Again, pics up soon...let me know how I can help the rest of ya...late.
