Bad rear end cluck

well i just picked up a 2000 4runner. after about 200 miles of owning it i am getting a horrible clunk coming from the rear end. only sometimes when i'm driving like clunk clunk clunk... it doesn't go away when i put it in nuetral or in 4wd. when its making the noise and i hit the brake pedal i can feel it in the pedal like an up and down as i'm braking. i'm thinking maybe a bad u-joint in the drive shaft? i crawled under it and a quick visual showed the obvious to be ok.
any help would be great.
Merry Christmas

i tried to grease em but my grease gun doesn't press in the ball on the nipple so it wont go in.

so i just got finished up with the fix. somebody installed the rear brake shoes wrong and the ebrake assembly came apart causing the noise from parts moving around in there.
now for the bad part i figured i'd replace the front rotors too and get rid of the pulsating. after adjusting the rear brake shoes to just have drag to stop the wheel after one turn, i bled all 4 brakes, got all the air out and still have the brake pedal go to the floor like it did before i did all the work. i did a bunch of reverse stops but it didn't help and the brake light is on now which it never was before. i am gonna start searching now but any help would be great. the only thing i saw in haynes was that there might be air in the abs control unit but it doesn't tell you how to blead that. thanks

^^^^yeah i think that was the problem, the fluid was topped off but the car was running so it just needed a key cycle to get rid of the light
