ARB Snorkel Installed in 90min!

Hey all,

Well tonight was the night to install my ARB Snorkel !!

It was so very easy to install, I couldnt belive it as how easy it was.

looks like a pretty easy install, I would have been really nervous about cutting into the fender though...

Awesome snorkel! I really like those signal mirrors also. Can you provide a little information on them like cost, brand, etc. Great website also!!

I think those are actually strobes, because he does search and rescue work.

Oh by the way, the snorkel looks good. I just don't think I could bare the sound of someone drilling into my fender though.

Ya it was a hard thing to do, that is drilling my baby again hehe, but ya it come out so good.

The lights are LED's ... RED/BLUE

Sorry I may be a little f'd up but a 96 is 3rd gen right?
If so please do a write up on the mod and do you think much would be different on a 2000 3rd gen?

there are already several write ups on here ... I used them when I did mine a few months back

Looks good---How much is the snorkel and where can I get one. Also with a snorkel, SAW's and a 1" body lift how deep can you go?

and the hole saw, the tap set, and a few other little things ended up costing an extra $50.

snorkel $240
taco piece: $47
addititional tools: $50

Just as deep as you dare, well until the intake is under water or the ECU gets fried. I was never a fan of the external snorkel, so I fabricated one from ABS and kept it hidden. Total cost under $10 in material and a bit of cutting....
