Anti theft on E brake

So I'm surfing around Badland Bumpers website a few days ago, and I noticed Jeff has an anti theft device there.

This is made to fit the E brake handle on older Toys where the handle is under the dash, and not on the console.

Anyone see this type before?
Besides my alarm I have now, I also have a Krptonite lock that goes from the brake pedel upto the steering wheel.

The E brake one he has looks pretty interesting.

My Runner becomes a fortress. In addition to my new DEI alarm, I use a Club on the steering wheel, a Gorilla Grip on the steering wheel over the club, and an AutoLok on the brake pedal.

I'm using AutoLock! Used to have the Club but with that all they have to do is cut the steering wheel. With the AutoLock they have to work on the floor in a tighter space to cut the AutoLock. Now they have to work harder to steal the vehicles.

The Autolock, that's the one in the infomercial right where it goes around the brake pedal?

How hard is it to put on each night?
Is this the one you guy's have, the Pro model?

That's the one Corey. It's a bit more clumsy that the Club but you get used to it. When you store it (I put it on the passenger's side floor, towards the very front of the seat) there is one "foot" that protrude up whereas the Club lies flat. When I bought it I had a price break at $59 ea. because I ordered 2 plus shipping! Now it's selling for $49! You should be able to find a store in your area that sells it so there's no shipping charge. BTW, you can install it on your clutch or brake pedal.

Pep Boys here in Colorado sells the newer model (cylinder key and lock) for $59 and the older model (flat key) for $39.

Corey-
If you can't find one in your area or can't find a better deal online, let me know. I'll pick one up for you here and ship it to you.

Only problem is that it would not take too much effort to push the cable under the truck with your foot and break the union where the 2 cables meet and disable the system... The Club is 100% the best anti-theft out there... It is just too much work to play with.. Where did I see some report that said out of all stolen cars found where the ownders had a club only 1 was found with the wheel cut, all the others had it sitting on the floor in the car un-used... The cars that had it on the wheel, (other than the one that was found with the wheel cut) do you know where they found them?? Yep, right where they parked!!

I will say it would be a great back up to the club, though

Yep, the Kryptonite one I have now has been used daily since 1990 when I had my '90 truck.

Transfered it to the 4Runner in '98.
Not a day has gone since it has not been used.

That makes sense about the cable underneath the rig Lee.
But I think that Pro Autolock is probably the best defense, next to a good alarm & pager system.
