I just drilled new holes, centered of course and it covers the "wench hole" until I get a winch. then I will drill new holes on the left or right of the bunperettes for the plate then.

ps. your pics aren't worth much anymore, I think the link is dead.

Thanks. I was trying to link to my yahoo photo album but had to go with montypics.

Those pics suck too. Saturday was a really crappy day. Good day to do some modding though. I want to post again when I get those lights on.

pics.

Here are a couple pics of the bumper and the slots.

To bad the bumper mounts don't have the hole in the mount
for the shackles like I've seen around here. Have to look into that mod.

EDIT: Sorry for the double post, Had to fix the first image

The bumper is mounted to the brackets with eight bolts. THe holes in the bumper that match the ones in the bracket are slotted to allow for adjustment. If you push the bumper up as high as it will go the bolts are at the bottom of the slots. If you extend those slots slightly lower, the bumper will then mount higher. Apparently, as elnip showed in his pic, you will have to accomodate for the bottom of the bracket interferring with the bottom lip of the bumper too. I'm going to do this too when I have some time.

What I did was extended the slots on the bumper mounts (bumper side) about an inch using a plasma cutter and then to get the bottom of the bumper to clear the mounts on the frame, I had to slot the bottom lip of the bumper so the bumper would go up th compensate for the 1" and be level. The pic in my previous post shows the slot on one side.

If you look close you can see the slots at the bottom of the bumper.

Hmmm, lift is a priority, lights as well. That'll probably be it for the rest of the summer, need to put cash towards other stuff, but the rig will be pretty function for off-roading at that point.

Hey Bill,
Are those Piaa's Driving or fog lights? Also, how do you like them?
I just got a set of Hella 500's from Mike, but the lens on one of them was cracked. I think I may have to upgrade

They are the fog lights. I love them. When it's rainy or foggy out they light it up like no other fog light I've seen. A nice yellow light output, makes everything really clear. Worth the extra $.
