Another one with Footwell lights!
Managed to get my footwell lights wired up today. Unfortunately no pics though My digicam sucks with no flash for some reason.. Probably just operator error. Anyways with the PIAA bulbs in them they look really good!! They are wired straight to the domelight so I can control them with the dome switch. Hopefully I can get some pics later on down the road. Also did this today.. Thanks guys for turning me onto CD2 it's pretty good stuff.

Pics!!!
Let's see some pics. At the rate you are doing mods, taking pictures is probably just slowing you down too much!! Everything you are doing looks great!!! I've got interior envy.
BTW, I've been meaning to mention -> nice doll.
JK, think I'll have another...

I'm interested in how you wired them. On mine there is an always hot lead in the center of the switch with a direct ground contact on one side and a contact that is grounded when either door is open when the switch is in the DOOR position.
I want to see the floor at night to!

Well by popular demand I made another attempt to get a shot of the footwell lights tonite. I took the bulb out of the domelight to get rid of some light and that helped some but I have came to the conclusion that my digicam sucks at night with no flash. I'll let you guys decide.
Passenger side
Drivers side..
The pics really dont' do them justice. They are alot brighter than they look in these pics! Sorry they suck.
Matt does your rig have a wire that is hot ALL the time? With mine half the bulb holder was a ground, the other half would only be hot when I flipped the switch around. If yours is the case.. Hook the positive end to one side of the bulb holder and the neg to other..There is actually a positive and negative side though. Your may be totally differnt than mine but I hope this helps

Here is the dome swich on the turd with the lens removed. With the switch in the forward position it grounds through the button on the door. In the middle its off always. In the back position its grounded through the forward right screw to the body and always on. I don't think I can copy your setup, and i'd rather not mess with the headliner just for this. I'll wire something up with its own switch that copies the dome switch with a single pole double throw setup to ground either through the door or straight to ground.
On my to do list today and tomorrow is:
Re-install RF CV axle shaft
Hang some exhast tube past the muffler, (there's none at the moment)
Install ProComp AALs to my rear spring packs
Replace a gauge lightbulb
Footwell lights
Why i'm here on the 'puter I don't know. I should be outside turning wrenches and screwdrivers. I'm waiting for it to warm up some.
