Adding 50 hp, need your opinion
Hey all-
The time has come to add more hp...in decal form!
Here's my rig:
1996 4Runner Ltd
Which would look better:
1)Chrome/Silver
2)Black/Charcoal
3)Black/Charcoal like above(not Black/Red. Link wasn't working)
Thanks for your input!

oh dude, that chrome/silver one looks tight. they didn't have that one when i got my red/silver one.
but i like mine. i'd get the black off road one. they have trd supercharged logo things you can add to you truck to flaunt the supercharger. i've seen them around, but can't give you any pictures.

I like the top one, but since you have the DD, it may not show up very well. Than again you have the silver flares, so it would match. I bought the black/red TRD off-road decals on my DD 4Runner, but I have the Black Flares.
Try #1 and take some pics, my TRD decals are fading and I need to get a new set soon..
BTW, get either the decals that say "off road" or "all terrain", I think the supercharger one looks dumb.

I'm going to have to agree with what everyone else said and say go with the Chrome/Silver. I think it would accent the chrome bumpers and paint color nicely.

Alan,
Hey, its Bob. Remember me re RS3000? It works great!
Take a close up pic of your rear quarter panel---just like Calrockx did. I'll photochop the decals onto it. It won't look perfect, but at least you'll get an idea of how it looks.
Email the pic to me.

I'd say you can't go wrong with the 3rd sticker pictured if its going near the tail lights. The red of the lights and the red of the shading on the sticker compliment each other nicely. Its also nice to let everyone know you have the blower. Honda Civic kids will probably leave you alone if they even can read and know what superchargers are.

You'll love this
You're gonna love me for this. I got mine from a guy in Canada at streetgraphics.net. Go to www.streetgraphics.net, click catalog, then Toyota, and you're there. Or just CLICK HERE to be forwarded. Pictures on the site, check it out! The decals there are just like the factory Toyota ones. Dimensions: 2.9" x 18.5". Color combinations, as listed on site: Black/Red, Silver/Charcoal, Black/Charcoal, Black/Silver, Silver/Red, and Silver/Chrome. Some are limited availability, so check out the site to find out which. The selection of decals is: "TRD OFF ROAD", "TRD ALL TERRAIN", TRD TURBO CHARGED", "TRD SUPER CHARGED", or "TRD" with Japanese Kanji symbols (no clue what they mean). The Kanji ones have different dimenions: 3.75" x 12.5". On the site they're offered for $15 each, but I got a pair on eBay from the same place for the same price plus shipping. Ones I wanted weren't the ones being auctioned but he said it was no problem to send different ones. I got two both in Black/Red: the "TRD OFF ROAD" one for the driver's side and the "TRD ALL TERRAIN" for the passenger side. I'm pleased and would defnately reccomend this site! They're indoor/outdoor weatherproof vinyl and come with installation instuctions in a cube box. It says the vinyl is "made from" 5-year warrantied vinyl, but I doubt that there's a warranty on them. Anyways, hope this helps to all who were wondering.

I want the "TTORA" ones that Gene and Rob (I think Rob has them) are running. Those are different and the other local TTORA members would flip.
I like the TRD SUPERCHARGED ones, but I don't really want to advertise the blower.

That's where I got those pictures.
I e-mailed them yesterday and they said that the "chrome/silver" is not acutally chrome, just two shades of silver to make it look chrome. I actually like that better than real chrome. Not to "bling bling."

Here's an idea:
There is a tint shop around here that has made a real clean match to the trd off-road stickers, i was thinking about having them make it with a vinyl w/ black and blue. I have also seen a sample of another one. It had the trd part, but instead of saying "off-road", it said "supercharged". You might check e-bay for these decals, but the just my .02 the supercharged one looked sweet, it would be a nice piece to show off too. Now if only i could afford the supercharger...:pat: I can keep dreaming though.
