AAL springs and lift shackles for 3.5" lift?
I scored a set of Fab-tech upper A-arms at the local "pick-it-yourself" junkyard with a set of bilstein rear shocks. I was able to snag the lower profile bumpstops as well.
What do I use in the back to level the truck out after I install the 3.5" lift Fab-tech A-arms?
Do I use the AAL's in addition to extended shackles? Or, would the extended shackles or just the AAL's be enough? This is on a '88 2wd singlecab shortbed with a (very light) Brahma shell on it.
Since this truck is so light in the back, I'm thinking that I don't really need that much lift in the rear to level it out. Correct?

the biggest lift you are going to get from premanufactured shackles through any reputable company will be 2" ... its not really safe t omake a lift shackle larger than that, and most companies dont for that reason.....

Thanks jimabena74!
So, it's safe to say that I'm going to need the AAL springs maybe in addition to the shackles to level it out?
I'm just wondering if the Fabtech 3.5" upper A-arms are going to me a solid 3.5" lift in the front. It's not that I really need exactly 3.5" in the front. However, I'm just thinking that if the rear happens to come out slightly lower with the AAL's, I can always adjust the front torsion bars down to level it out.
I just don't want to be caught in a situation where I have the front fully cranked up with the Fab-tech A-arms, but the backend is still higher than the front.
