Where'd you get that info. I've been hunting it forever? How can you get more horse power out of it other than headers.

4que

The 4runner has plenty of torque if you know how to unleash it.

Speaking of Torque

Are you trying to tell me that by blocking off the breather tube you gained some ponies?

I only blocked off where it entered into the base of my fipk & at the throttle body tube next to the throttle body. instead of the flow circulating it now breathes in cooler cleaner air IMO and exhales the warm engine air. I think the engine runs cooler and it for sure has more power.

I just had steak and potatos. I can only assume what my gas is doing to the ozone layer.

The steak came from a ruminant...So you're helping to control global warming. But your gas...

How did you get a pic of my girlfriend in you avatar? LOL I wish...

Do a quick search for 'crankcase explosion'.... something that does not damage anything other than you oil pan seal, but does spray oil EVERYWHERE and occurs from not evacuating blow by out of the crank case which happens to be fuel-air rich....

Im all about the hp, but I'd really not do that on my 3vze - she already spews oil out of the valve cover 'seals' as if they weren't even there...lol And you just KNOW my pcv valve is still working after 256,000 miles....LOL

Looking at the graph below, I agree there's not enough there but for what it is, I am very surprised at the torque curve being over 150ftlbs at 1200 rpm and doesnt drop below that until 5200 rpm. This little engine is a little bit more impressive to me now, considering when it came out '89 it was competitve... Things that make me like this truck - im wierd
