It's pretty, but a stock, even mildly built, 2.4L with 5.71's pushing those 40" Boggers can't be fun. Still, a real nice truck.

It really doesn't say what all he did to that engine but just the cam, polish and balance could make enough difference that a few six bangers may be hanging there heads in shame,Lol. Wish I had the money to play like this guy did. I'm not much on building or buying a rig just for looks , I want it to work it's rear end off. But this one is nice to just look at. Real nice clean looking work also. Mike

do they make anything bigger than 27 spline axles for the IFS that woudl be nice.

It always strikes me as funny how some guy's on this site just want to put down anothers work. If you can't find anything you like about it then just admire the work the man has in it. For all you know it may run a whole lot better than you think and I believe that no one would place that kind of money and time in it without knowing what they were doing.

i admire his work, but I don't get it. I guess its just me, but if I were to dump 25,000 into something like that, the IFS would be gone...not just for added articulation if I were to ever wheel it (as he originally planned...."The plan was to enhance the Toy's rock-crawling ability..."), but for strength pushing the 39's. And I don't think i would have kept the 22RE as well, even with all the work he's put into it.

I'd be amazed to see any pictures of that truck actually putting any of the modifications to work besides all the trophies he's won. And I'm not talking about poser photos.

Yep, old skool or just have the name Mike! I personally wouldn't build a truck that looked like that today, but 10 years ago, that style was hot! . and there is an a$$ load of work on that rig.
