4wheel drive acting funny
Hi All
The right front hub of our 1996 Limited 4Runner seems to kick in and out when we stop. Sometimes it works fine, then sometimes it kicks out leaving the other three tires trying to makes us do right turn donuts. Anyone got an idea what is going on? It stops after about 15 minutes of driving, but we have had a lot of ice here in Oklahoma City lately and that is a dangerous 15 minutes.
A friend suggested taking the hub apart and changing the grease. Does that sound like something to try and if it is, how hard is it to do in these 4runners?
Thanks ahead for any ideas or suggestions.
Barry
