4Runner Brake Pads last how long
Exactly what the title says, how long do they last on average, 40k, 60k, just wondering and also do 3rd Gen 4Runners have rear disc cause I know on the Pathfinders with the rear drums using the e-brake can extend the life of the front brakes pads twice as long cause the e-brake adjust the rears shoes closer into the drum asking less of the front brakes.
My 2003 has rear disc and I use the e-brake, does it work the same or are rear disc like front disc automatic self adjusting everytime you hit the brake.
TY in advance for any replies

Well
Well this isn't an answer to your question, but I chose to replace my stock semi-metallic pads with full metallic ones. No questions asked lifetime warranty from Auto Zone if they ever mess up (as long as you keep the receipt). 100000 miles (OK maybe not). The only difference I've noticed is under extremely hard braking (in emergencies) and that they do produce a LOT more brake dust that sticks to the wheels. I'd say it's not worth it actually -- try better rotors for better performance.

I might be looking into better pads and rotors, this truck seems a little hefty for the brakes or maybe Im just use to the brake feel on my Pathfinders and just have to get use to this 4Runner
