ok , guys , i was driving my 95 4 runner , back from kansas wherei bought it, and i did some correcting of the speedo and odomter in my head, and mile post signs and such . i figured i was only getting 10 mpg , i was able to do 70 for a majority of the way and for 50 % of the time it was fairly windy. heres my set up 4.88 with 33 's 3.0 v-6. is this a typical corrected mpg for this type of set up .
oh and by the way , the pinion gear went kapoopt on me in the middle of south dakota , so im in the process of looking for a good set of 4.88's for the rear.
i called a place , and i got the same thing about back ordered and no idea when they are getting any in, apparently , no one is selling them anymore or at least making them.
i did do search of northwest offroad , and they say the have the corrected ring and pinion set ups for the v-6's , but wether or not they actually have them in stock , and a price would be nice , that company has some cool stuff , but why have an internet site if you charge for a catalog , why not post the prices on the site and let you order online , damn them.
so my truck is stuck at a ford dealer ship , waiting for my instructions, my plan is too drive back get a truck and hauler and haul it back to spokane , where ill have a few more options to get it fixed , middle of south dakota isdefintily a one horse place , but they did take pretty good care of me , i cant complain too much .
